    • Awards

4. Understand IDC sharing expectations

  • If CoDES provides support for a grant you receive, you will be expected to share a portion of the Indirect Cost (IDC) recovery with the center.
  • Under current University of Florida guidelines:
    • 10% of IDC goes to the Principal Investigator (PI)
    • 7.5% goes to the department
    • The remainder goes to your college
  • You may designate one or more centers (such as CoDES) to receive up to an additional 7.5% total IDC allocation. This portion is reallocated from your college’s share.
